10 TIPS TO IMPROVE YOUR BATTERY PERFORMANCE

1. Turning off 3G and Other
Powerful Networks:
Always turn off your 3G network especially when not in use because it drains your battery faster. If you don’t need a faster internet/data
connection or the ability to make
video calls, switch your network to GPRS/EDGE.

2. Turning off GPS Application: If you don’t need your GPS for
navigation or geo-tagging of pictures or videos turn it off because some Network Signal Under-go some Mapping and
this consumes the Energy in your battery.

3. Turning off Bluetooth: If
you don’t use any Connectivity
Network Protocol Such as the
Bluetooth connection to a headset or any
other device, make sure it’s
turned off to reduce power
consumption on screen and idle
mode.

4. Turning off WLAN Network

When you’re not
currently looking for a wireless network,
make sure your WLAN connections
are strictly turn off, by leaving it
on, power consumptions also

5. Lower the screen brightness

Your phone brightness has major impart on your battery performance. The higher the level of brightness on your phone to higher the rate of battery consumption. Also the longer the timeout interval the longer the brightness and this aint good for your phone.

6. Keep phone’s Fare-well(FW) up
to date:
FW updates could include better battery management.

7. Close All un-used applications:
Try to have as few applications as possible running, especially those that use internet connection or other network connection.

8. Turn your phone off (or change to “Offline/airplane mode” profile):
If you’re in an area with no signal for a long period of time phones Networks shouldn’t be turned on, because Satelite From tempered

on and change to “Offline” profile.

themes and non-animated wallpapers.

  1. your contributions are nice and tecno Q1 is particularly a nice phone. However, the battery needs to be improved upon ; it should be produced with 2 (two) batteries to enable users to have better fun on tecnos-Q1.

    1. I hope tecno will look into that. Thanks for your suggestion. For the meantime, there are tecno batteries on sale in various stores in Nigeria. You can ask for tecno Q1 battery. If you can’t get one buy a power bank for your phone.
